Aside from your regular menu items, you can create Lovvett Offers to sell your surplus food or run promotions.
A Lovvett Offer is like any regular item in your menu. You simply mark it as Lovvett Offer and add some additional information like discount, if it is surplus or not, if it is a Lovvett Bag or not, the number of units available, and the days and times it’s available.
The timeframe allows you to sell, for example, unsold breakfast portions while they are still warm, right after the service at your venue ends. It also allows customers to fetch unsold products for the day right before you close, or during non-peak hours of the day. It also allows you to run a happy hour or flash sale at a certain time of the day. It's your choice.
And you are done! You can edit the offer information during the day, if, for example, the number of portions leftover changes, or you need to adjust the pickup timeframe. The application will always show you the number of portions left and the number originally posted.
If you need to cancel an offer, you just mark it as out of stock as you do with any other menu item, from the Menu - Items Stock section of your Merchant Portal. Please bear in mind that canceling an offer does not cancel existing orders of that offer though.
