What are some best practices for selling my offers?

There are several things you can do to ensure Lovvett users find and like your offers, buy from your business, and keep coming back.

Our team will do their best uploading your menu and offers, but you are welcome to review them and improve them whenever you feel it is possible. Here are some useful tips to keep in mind:

  • Make sure the offer name allows customers to fully understand what they are buying: "Italian food" is not clear enough, while "Bolognese pasta with a side of parmesan" is much better. Be clear as well about non-ordinary sizes or numbers of items in a bundle: 4x croissants/viennoiserie, 1 pound Chinese fried rice, or 1/2 gallon of chicken soup are great examples.
  • Put as much love and detail as you can into the offer description to make it compelling for potential customers.
  • Make each offer irresistible by bundling an excellent complement, like a beverage, for example.
  • Tag the fields that apply for the type of meal or cuisine you are offering, so people using those filters can easily find your offer. Also, remember to include information about the most common allergens and dietary restrictions, as these are extremely important for many customers. Insert tags for diets for which you know the item is suitable so that customers with that diet setting don't miss it.
  • Use a good description of your business as well. What sets you apart? What is your specialty? Tell a bit of your story here.

Pictures, pictures, pictures! We are all visual animals. Use beautiful images of your food, if you have them. If you don’t already have some and need a photo on the fly, take a good one from your phone. Here some tips for amateurs. Images also work great for your business. In Settings, upload a beautiful picture of your venue, as well as your logo so that people can recognize your business.
