We take care of payment through the app, so when customers show up with their in-app receipt, just greet them, verify the receipt, and hand them what they bought, place it in your pickup area, or serve it as a sit-down meal.
By the time they arrive, their order should be ready and contain the items ordered according to special instructions if any.
It it is a Pickup (or curbside pickup) order, hand the order to the customer or place it in your pickup area, properly labeled with the customer’s name. A Lovvett receipt helps the guest to easily identify her order. If possible, it is always good practice to offer the customer an opportunity to inspect the order.
If it is a Dine-in order, serve it as a sit-down meal. If you provide table service, reserve a table. If not, you do not need to guarantee seating.
You can mark the order as picked up in your Merchant Portal or Merchant App, ask the guest to do so in her app, so you can easily see the orders pending pickup.
