Why did I receive a price adjustment notification?

It’s in general due to an item replacement, or accommodation of special instructions. The restaurant will normally get in touch to get your consent.

If you received a price adjustment notification, this means your original order total has been changed. It probably follows a conversation with the restaurant where you agreed to replace or substitute some item. 

 

If your order total increased, it’s probably because you made a special request (for example “add extra guacamole”), and the merchant had to charge you extra to accommodate your request, or because you decided to replace an unavailable item by a more expensive one.
